Don,

They should be in your collection of Video Effects. Their names are Film
Age - Old, Older and Oldest.

They are not listed under my Video effects. What version of windows do you have?

I have the same version of Movie Maker 2 as you do.... and those video
effects are 3 of the ones built into the software. They are not additional
ones. MM2 has 28 video effects so it might take some scrolling to get to
them.

In an earlier message Don has said that:

This seems to point that he is a victim of "effects and transiton
disappearing syndrome" which is going around...

My suggestion would be to try reinstalling latest versions of: DirectX,
Media Player, Media Encoder, Movie Maker 2.

If all this doesnt work and you are really desperate and ready to take sme
risks: Windows XP SP2 RC2 has been reported to fix this issue. Not
recommended if you are not computer savvy though as it is not a final
release yet.
