Now what? Every other program I have recognizes a
recordable drive on this XP machine. I have continually
had problems with Transitions freezing up the program and
even with 512 MB or ROM , my desktop says it needs MORE
virtual memory...well, windows regulates it, whats goin'
on?

A remote possibility is that Nero Burning Rights is installed on this
computer. If so, it is possible that the logged user is not authorized
to burn. From my experience, Nero still works, but MM2 will not.
