Made a slidshow of farther-in- law and i can save it to disk but it want play
on my dvd.
can i even do this???? don't have a scopby doo

Hello,
You can copy the DV-AVI or WMV file to a DVD disk, but you will only be
able to play it on a suitably equipped computer.

If you want to create a "proper" DVD you must import the DV-AVI file into a
DVD authoring package. You can download the 30 day trial version of Nero
from www.nero.com and use that to make your DVD. It also has rather a nice
Slide show authoring program built in....you can see a basic example of
that in the Media section of my website under the Nero tab. There is also
some basic instruction on Nero itself in the discussion area and I am part
way into writing a proper tutorial on Nero...if you want to get cracking
don't wait for the proper tutorial...its got a low priority at the moment
