I created a Video Slide Show of my friend's wedding. It's in WMP format and
they asked me to convert it to something that will play on any DVD player.

How do I go about that? I tried Windows Movie Maker and burned a PAL
conversion to a CD-R and my DVD player did not recognize the file...

What steps should I take?
Thanks,
Bill

WMP format? Do you mean
.wmv or possibly .mswmm?

To create a disk that will play
in a stand alone DVD player
and view it on your TV...you
need authoring software that
can create a VCD (if you only
have a CD-RW burner) or a DVD
(if you have a DVD-RW burner).

Yes...now I see .wmv in your subject line...doh!

Anyway...you shouldn't have to convert the .wmv
file...most of the current authoring software should
be compatible with it. NeroVision Express, ULead,
ProShow Gold, WinDVD, Roxio...etc...etc....
