Hello all! I have an older Sony 8mm camcorder.(1995)- I still have lots of
stuff recorded to those 8mm tiny tapes. have no desire to put them on a vhs
tape. prefer to get them on a DVD/CD by either WMM or some other program
(free perferably)
Is it possible to accomplish this. I dont want to be stuck in the ancient
but my camcorder is of the older kind as you can see. Do you need more info
on the model, etc?

If your main goal is to make DVD copies
of your 8mm tapes...you don't even need
a computer. A DVD Recorder like the
following example may be worth a look.
