Everytime I start Windows Movie Maker I see this error message:

"Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience."

Why is it doing it, and how can I fix this problem?

Thanks to who can help.

Are you using MM2? MM2.1? What are the system specs of the pc? Have you
tried turning off codecs which may interfere? Has it ever worked?

Have you tried system restore to a point before it stopped working?
Have yu installed anything since it worked? This may be interfering and
could be a programme, codec pack, game etc.
Do an anti-virus and adware/spyware check in case anything else is lurking.

I installed "Adobe Premier Try Out" and when I went to use WMM it didn't
work, so I uninstalled Premier to see if WMM would work again, but it didn't
:(

Try doing a system restore back to before you installed Premiere.
