I have an analog camera, and have been trying to capture video using it and
Movie Maker. I have no problem getting the video, but no audio is getting
captured.
My audio setting choices are:
Sigma Tel Audio
Dazzle DVC Audio 2
DVC 80 16 k 16 bit
When I select the Dazzle, the only audio input I can get is ADC.
I've tried both composite and SVideo connections.
Any advice?

Are you using the Dazzle software, or Moviemaker to capture videos?
I will tell you what I do, with the hope that it will help. I capture
videos using the Moviemaker from a Sony Camcorder or sometimes an analog VCR,
connected to Pinnacle DVC 80 Video capture device (Dazzle). In the
Moviemaker configuration window I select Pinnacle 80 for Audio Device and
ADC for Audio Input Source and Composite for Video Input Source. Be aware
that you will not hear the sound while capturing the movie from your source.
If all works well the sound will function properly when you are rendering
the captured file you just made in the Moviemaker Timeline. Good luck.

I'll give it a try. The only problem is Pinnacle 80 doesn't show up for the
Audio Device. I might try upgrading the driver again. I'm using the
Moviemaker to capture the videos. The only Dazzle software I have is the
actual driver. It originally came with another Pinnacle program. This Dazzle
80 is a few years old:-), so the original Pinnacle program for capturing
(can't remember the name) wasn't working with XP.

You only need the driver... which was bundled with the Pinnacle Studio
software... no need to install Pinnacle Studio
