Updtae Moviemaker

Was wondering how to update Windows Moviemaker to 2.0
version. I downloaded what i thought was the file from
Microsoft's web site (file mm20enu)opened it and seemed
like it installed it but only to open up Moviemaker to
see i had the same version, it did not update it. Any
help would be great on this one. Thanks in advance.....

Well what you could do is, get the upgrade from
the "Windows Update" It would be under the "Windows"
click on that on the left hand side, and scroll down, and
you'll find the Windows Movie maker 2 file. Download it
and restart your computer. But theres a problem with the
WMM2 program. For some reason you cannot use the video
transitions or the video effects, the program just quits.
And I dont think there is a solution CUZ I HAVE THAT
PROBLEM MYSELF!

I'm having the same problem. Knowlege Base Article 825229
has instructions to follow which I have done but the
file "Mm20ex.inf" doesn't seem to exist. I get a file to
extract but it doesn't result in an updated version.
Hopefully, there is somebody out there that can help us.
