For info.... I hadn't been able to use Movie Maker's narration feature for a
while, getting a message about the audio device being in use by something
else.
It tuned out the Tivo desktop software added services that turned on
automatically at system startup, and by turning them off, Movie Maker was
back to being functional.
Of course the error message didn't point to the Tivo service using the audio
device, leaving it for me to figure out.
