There is no sound after video capture.

After capturing my samsung camcorder and saving my movie no sound is playing
even when my movie is played in windows media player; but I did hear sounds
from my camcorder.
Can anyone please help me as im really confused?

I used a usb cable that came with the camcorder.

then you should setup a firewire connection and capture it as DV-AVI

the USB capture process is best done to the software that came with the
camcorder, but it won't be full quality DV-AVI, and might need conversion to
another file for use in Movie Maker. Firewire is the way to go.

This story sounds so familiar to mine. I recently got a DV camcorder and
posted help. My problem is now solved by inserting a motherboard due to no dv
slot on my computer system and getting a firewire cable. You may find the
help I received useful. Search for" no sound on capture "for the issues I had
and help received
