I'm afraid I haven't used TMPG for several years, so cannot be much more
help with this I'm afraid. From the many users I have heard from they are
quite happy with the audio settings used in the standard settings.
If you want better you will need to spend some money on an AC-3 encoder to
get better results with a smaller file size.
