When the finish movie is replayed on the computerthere is no problem. I have
given up on trying to burn to CD from movie maker. I have been unsuceesful.
So, I have done the following. I recorded back to a DVD tape. While viewing
this process is when I get the periodic brief static. It is like pluging in
or unpluging the cord from the amplifier without turning the volume down. I
have been able to burn the project into a DVD disc. The finish
product, however gets this periodic stadic sound. Any suggestions??

Do you mean to DV tape?
Why are you doing this and tehn making your dvd?
You could save the movie as a dv-avi file from MM and then import this into
your authoring software.

I have done exactly that , but I can not import it to burn into a DVD disc.
There is a missing step that can not see what it is. My alternative , as I
was pressed for time, was to copy back to DV tape and the directly burn a DVD
from my device via Nero.

What software are you using to author the DVD?
