I'm creating a video and I've imported 2 songs. One works fine but the other
one doesn't make a sound! I right clicked on it, clicked on Play clip and it
still won't play. I checked it out in Windows Media Player and it works
fine. When I went back, the other song wouldn't play so I deleted them both
and imported them again. The one now will play but the one I had problems
with to begin with, still doesn't have sound. I've restarted my computer 2
or 3 times and still can't get the song to play in WMM. Both files are mp3.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting! I've never had a problem bringing in a mp3 with MM
before. Why has it all of a sudden happen? Did it happen after an update?

I saw on the site you sent me to that you can download the older version,
maybe I should try that!? I've not never converted a file before so I
probably wouldn't know where to begin!

Thanks!

Some files cause issues some do not...
the point is...MP3 files can be problematic.

There is a link in the article that leads to some
software that can do the conversion.

The older version is for a Vista machine that
will not run the installed Version 6. If you are
running Vista...you are in the wrong newsgroup...
this is a Win XP group.

You may want to try the followng free online
converter.

If you convert the .mp3 to .wma...it may work
better for you in Movie Maker.
