I have a project with a about 100 jpg pictures. After saving it and exiting,
when the project is reloaded it takes over 1 hour to load the project. I'm
running XPPro on a 512Meg system at 1.2 gig. What can I do to be more
productive because this is UNACCEPTABLE! HELP!

==================================
Things to try...

Add more RAM.

Increase the size of your paging file.

Run DiskCleanup, Error Checking
and Defrag.

Disconnect from the net and close all
programs...especially virus scanners...
before opening Movie Maker.

Also if your image files are from a very
high resolution camera...it may be worth
a try to create copies and resize them.
