Hello,

In preview mode my movie is 17 minutes 55 seconds, but
after rendering (DV-AVI in and DV-AVI out) it is down to
17:35 with one short but important scene gone. That short
scene is about 3 seconds long so there's that and 17 other
seconds missing some or all of which is immediately
following the 3 second scene. The 3 second scene is a
split clip so I could use a different audio volume/mix
than the rest of the clip.

I originally attributed it to insufficient memory. So
yesterday I added 512MB of much needed RAM to the original
128MB. All other performance bottlenecks are gone and
verified that the system recognizes 640MB. Yet my movie
rendered exactly the same way with the same 3 second scene
and 17 additional seconds missing.

Does anyone have experience with some pieces skipped by
the rendering process? Is the scene too short?

thanks,
Rye

Yes Rye, I am having the same problem. The movie is 21
minutes long in preview mode, but about the last 2 minutes
are being left out for some reason. The slides stop, but
the music keeps playing. I tried changing the save output
and it does the same thing, but at a different point. Does
anyone have any suggestions?
