Hi,

I'm trying to trim an .avi file using Windows Movie Maker.
But when i save it using "Save Movie " option its only
saving the trimmed file in .wmv option.

I'm using Windows Movie Maker 1.1.2 & the OS is XP home
edition.

Can anybody tell me how to save the trimmed file in the
source file format itself?

Thanks,
Rita

You can only save movies in WMV or DV-AVI formats. It creates new files and
doesn't split existing ones.
