I have just completed a movie and saved it onto a CD but this will not play
in a DVD player so I assume its in the wrong format. Can anybody tell me how,
or what software I need, to save a movie to CD or DVD which can be played on
my DVD player.
Many Thanks

First you save your project in a movie format...
.avi is usually a good choice if you plan to
create a DVD.

How do I save my movie as a
DV-AVI file in Movie Maker?

John's answer is complete but mine is shorter! Save (publish) to computer as
DV-AVI(PAL) open in NERO or other Video making prog like Roxio, edit
chapters/titles and then burn a DVD. Hope this helps.
