Not sure this is specifically a Movie Maker problem, but would
appreciate any advice.
I have captured footage from two seperate dv tapes and want to
consolidate them onto one tape (simple sequential connection).
Whenever I do that, the sound gets a minor corruption on the final
tape. It's not bad - just a short dropout every 20 or 30 seconds.
That happens no matter what I use to write the tape. Have tried Movie
Maker 2, Pinnacle 7 and Ulead Video Studio 6. In each case the
corruption is slightly different and never major, but enough to be
annoying.
I have used Ulead to burn a VCD and that is perfect.
Playing the AVI files on Media Player also gives perfect performance.
I'm running an Athlon 1800 with 512 meg of memory and lots of disk
capacity so I would have thought I had enough performance, yet I have
a sneaky feeling that the problem is performance related.
Any ideas please?
Thanks
