Hello, I am importing .avi format video 512x384 30fps into MovieMaker from a
GoPro Hero3 camera. I have a clip in which most of the relevant detail is at
the very top of the frame. Whenever I render to .wmv file (NTSC 4:3), the
frame is cropped so that I lose the data I am trying to follow. I have tried
no effects and also the Pixelan A1 Hold effect. Both have the same problem.
I also tried most of the available output format options in MovieMaker (High
Res Video, NTSC, etc.), all result in same crop/clip problem.

Does anyone know why my rendered video is getting cropped so that the top
~5% of the frame is lost?

Related question: Available output formats for NTSC 4:3 seem to support
very small 160 pixels wide, small 320x240, larger 640x480, and 720x480. I am
sure there are a few more options for PAL and 16:9. However, I cannot find a
way to render to output 512x384 to match my input resolution.

Is there a way to render 512x384 resolution?
What is the standard way of dealing with this input format?

- Thanks, David
