Is it possible to render to a DV camera tape, with the curser starting in the
middle of the edited movie on the time line?
(When I have tried it, the movie curser moves back to the start of the movie
before starting to render.)
Thanks for you comments,
Randy

no, rendering a movie is always the full project as shown on the timeline...
you would need to strip off the first half of the project's clips to do what
you want.

PapaJohn,
Thanks for your immediate reply.
Another quick question: Does the fact that my 30 miniute movie will render
to my hard drive, and play OK on windors. But it always aborts at different
times when rendering to my DV camera.

PapaJohn,
I forgot to say that the rendering to my hard drive used DV-AVC (NTSC)

Save it to your hard drive, and then copy it to your camcorder tape, using
the WinDV utility... link and newsletter on my website's Setup Movie Maker >
Other Software page. Scroll down until you see the picture link for
newsletter #61

PapaJohn,
The WinDV utility worked great. Thanks for all the help you so faithfully
provide to so many each and every day.
