hey everyone. i'm a newb when it comes to capturing vide. i rea
that you can use an ati all in wonder card to record you xbox footag
onto your pc. i have bought an ati all in wonder 9200 card last nigh
for $150. kinda pricey, but oh well..

anyways, it comes with pinnacle studio 8, ati catalyst, and somethin
called matchware mediator 7. i have installed the hardware and al
software successfully as well as the drivers for the card. i hav
hooked the a/v-out cables from the xbox to the purple a/v-in plu
that came with the card. it is plugged into the capture card in th
back of the computer. i also have the monitor plugged into th
capture card

the problem is that when i try to use pinnacle or windows movie make
or other programs i get errors when i try to capture. i havent trie
to capture using anything other than my xbox. i swear i have th
cables and everything hooked up the way i've seen on many sites an
it all sounds simple and makes perfect sense to me.

the errors i get say that the video device is in use by somethin
else. so what should i do? thnx in advance
