Program crashes with transitions

The moment I try to add a transition, an effect or a title the program crashes. All I can do is combine videos and or pics. Can anyone help me? I do have quite a bit of memory, so that can't be the reason, or is it?

I solved this problem by removing the DivXAF.ax file from my winnt\system32
folder. This is a file that fixes the Divx freeze problem.
