WMM and IE7 Problems

Hi,

I've found that WMM has issues with IE7. In my case, WMM closes as soon as
I run it with IE 7 installed. When I remove IE7, WMM works fine. I've
installed the latest IE7 and WMM doesn't work again. Anyone have any ideas
if a fix is available for either WMM or IE7?

I know it wont help you
BUT
I have WMM2
Installed IE7 RC1

All works without problems - at the moment - touch wood!!

Just a thought - it could be resource shortages on the PC you are using.

At what point does it close? I am using the two together with no problems at
all.

I installed IE7 yesterday and Windows says it has encountered
a problem whenever I open MM2.1.I have an OEM version of XPpro wit
SP2.
I can still control a camcorder and view video but if I try to dra
video onto
the timeline it will not accept it.When I uninstall IE7 the problem
disappear

I am having the exact same issue. I had to create a movie for m
mother-n-law's birthday and I hadn't used WMM in a while. When I trie
to open it I got the error message right away. I didn't have time t
try to figure out what my problem was, so I just reinstalled Window
and it worked fine. However a day or so later I put IE7 back on m
machine and I had the same problems, so I figured IE7 had to be th
problem. I have heard that IE7 is having some issues with some othe
programs also. I would think that Microsoft should be issuing som
sort of fix. I guess until then I will just take off IE7 when I nee
to use WMM

Hi,

As soon as I open WMM, it' displays the program window and before I can do
anything, I get the notification that the program had to close.

It's odd, cause on my laptop, I'm running IE7 and WMM and SP2, and it has no
issues.

Don't get it.

Just out of curiosity I opened WMM on my work computer which also ha
IE7 on it. It seemed to open fine. I have never used WMM at work, s
there is nothing in Collections or anything. I don't know if tha
makes a difference. Also at home I have XP Home SP2 and work is X
Professional SP2. I don't know if that makes a difference either
