This is Kin-no-suke.

I posted from Japan.

When I installed Movie Maker 2.1 and SP2 at same time,
I encounterd the follwing problem.

Pls teach me how to solve this problem.

[Preblem]
An editting moview is not displayed a correct movie on
Preview screen.
the moview looks like the green picture or noisy screen.

If I restored WinXP to SP1 env. , MM(I believe that MM
version becomes old version since I restored WinXP)
displayed the correct preview screen.

After installing SP2, install the latest/updates of the following:

1. Graphics card drivers
2. DirectX
3. Windows Media Encoder

I installed the Windows Media Encoder,
then I checked the preview function and hte preview is
worked correctly.
So,this problem is solved at last.

Where do I get the media encoder from???? Could you please tell me, I'm

Ok the encoder didnt work but i did what you advised on your website about
looking at the application stuff from system tools and the ones highlighted
in red were WMIAdapter and Perfnet. What does that mean??? And what program
can convert files into WMV????? PLease help
