When burning DVDs for standard DVD players without DVD-R or +R capabilites,
burn your computer file on a home DVD recorder using DVD+R format in the two
hour only mode. Be sure to finalize the DVD after writing to the disk. The
DVD-R only worked on certain home DVD players and sometimes freezes up
whrereas the +R worked perfectly on both of my older DVD video only
(Hollywood movie format) players. The earlier (more than eight years old) DVD
players will only accept DVD video formats.
Hope this helps!
