I have put all my pictues in and burned to a DVD disc. Problem is some of my
pictures are to large for the frame. I have tried resizing them to make
smaller but this did not help. I see on the storybook mode the pictures are a
little oversized but how do I get them in the frame so they fit correctly? I
had Movie Shop Deluxe and it allowed me to click on the frame and fit it in
the window. I can not find this feature in Movie maker. Does it exist?

the ratio of the width to the height of the picture is what's critical....
for standard aspect ratio movies, it's 4:3 - so use pictures with dimensions
such as 640x480, 800x600, 1600x1200, 2400x1800, etc.

Do the necessary cropping or resizing in another app before importing them
into Movie Maker.

I used the 4:3 and the largest picture size I used was 415x296. I had
approximatley 200 pictures. Of these about 40 were not in the frame
completely. Some of the picture was outside. I am using Windows XP. I thought
I had cropped and resized them to fit using my documents and MGI Photo Suite.
So do I need to make them exactly 600x480, 800x600, etc.?

You can use any size picture... Movie Maker will resize it so it fits within
the overall movie frame, and add blackness to the left/right or top/bottom
so the picture isn't distorted.

The whole picture should stay within the frame and it's just the black
borders that's the issue... for those who don't want them.
