Does anyone know how to eliminate the most recently used list in
moviemaker?

I don't want it to save a MRU'ed list at all but I cannot find
anywhere hot to stop it from keeping a list.

Please...

Movie Maker doesn't have a MRU list.

Just delete the files from your Collections
folder before you close Movie Maker.
Select one...then press and hold your
delete key until they all disappear.

Thanks John, I didn't have a 'my collections' folder, they were under
my movies. I deleted them but they still showed up in MM. I had to
click on each one, it couldn't find the file and removed the entry.

So I'm not sure what it's telling me

It's telling you that you are running
Windows XP 5.1 and Movie Maker 2.1.

If you click the 'Collections' button
on your toolbar you should see
your collections folder in your left
pane. If you select one file and hold
your delete key it should clear it.

My left pane displays:

"Collections"
Video Effects
Video Transitions
Collections
File Name
File Name
File Name
File Name

Thanks John, I got rid of them, they showed up as project files
really, if I create a movie and don't save it as a project I don't
have any listed under the files menu item.
