I have used my palmcorder with firewire (IEEE) connection and Movie Maker in
the past but in the last month it will not reconize my palmcorder.

My USB picture connection works fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on troubleshooting this issue?

I have tried a new cable, updating IEEE driver, looked for drivers for the
PV-DC252 but could not find any on the Panasonic site.

Could be a fault with the firewire card, they are delicate.
