When I import an .avi file into Movie Maker, the order of the clips in the
clip pane doesn't follow the order they were recorded in with my video
camera. I originally captured the video using the wizard that XP opens up
when the camera is attached. I'm assuming the order doesn't get screwed up
during capture, since I start the tape at the beginning and let it go to the
end. This happens with all my tapes. If I chose various options for the
"Arrange Icons By", none of them order them up by their original time and
date stamp. Most of the clips get ordered, but some do not. It's really
frustrating, because if I assemble clips together to make an avi, and then
later import that avi, the order is no longer necessarily the same in which
I created it.

Does anyone know a way to get Movie Maker to keep the original order of the
clips?
