Hello there

Is anyone able to email me a copy of Moviemaker 1 exe or tell me where to go
to get a copy?

I have version 2 now (because I downloaded Service Pack 2), and because it
won't upload from my Sony handycam I need to be able to run version 1 to do
so. I am trying to set up version one in the same folder so that I can run
both.

I don't know anyone who hasn't loaded SP2 so far haven't found a copy of
Version 1 which is about 780kbs approx).

Many thanks if you can.

Dave

Thanks John for the version one of Moviemaker. It loads now fine but I
still can't capture with it? Is the "capture command" under File? If so
all I have is Import and Record? I still can't get the PC or MM to
recognise the Sony handy can through the firewire connection. I don't know
if all the problems I am having getting MM to upload from our Sony camera is
worth all the trouble I am putting people to?

I once had such a problem with my Sony handycam, which was not recognised by
MM, when connected through USB cable. The problem later discovered was that
the USB connectivity setting in the Handycam was not enabled.

Any such setting is there for your handycam? If so, make sure that it is
enabled.

I have to ask here.
If your PC isn't recognizing the camera how is MM supposed to?
Sounds more like a driver problem then a WMM problem since Windows itself
doesn't find the camera.
Have you checked Sony's website for updated drivers?
