Movie maker is designed to work with firewire connections, though some
people have been able to use it with analogue, it depends on the hardware.
You I'm afraid are in the majority who can't. Now, if you search through the
apps which were installed on your computer you may find an analoge capture
utility which you can use.
This may capture in something like mjpeg, a common analogue capture format,
and again MM cannot use this, so then you need to find a utility to convert
it to av-/wmv, this can then be used in MM.
As John says, the other option is to get an analogue to digital convertor,
more expensive but so easy to use if you buy a good one, see here for
reviews on some by canopus/miglia both well recommended and dazzle.

You can also buy internal pci cards, but the external tend to be easier to
use, less pc conflicts and no messing with the insides of your pc!!
