Herewith MONEY $$$$$ For YOU
Don't Cheat
I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it: A
little while back, I was browsing through news groups and
e-mails, just like you are now, and came across an article
similar to this that said you can make thousands of
dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of
$6.00!! So, I thought, "Yeah right, this must be a scam,"
but like most of us, I was curious, so I KEPT reading.
Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the six
names and addresses stated in the article. You then place
your own name and address in the bottom of the list at
$6.00, and post the article in at least 200 people 0r news
groups. (There are thousands) No catch, that was it. So
after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first,
I thought about trying it. I figured, "What have I got to
lose; except six stamps and $6.00 right, right?" Then I
invested the measly $6.00.
WELL GUESS WHAT!!!
Within seven days, I started getting money in the mail!! I
was shocked!! I figured it would end soon, but the money
just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about
$25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total
of more than $1000.00!! In the third week I had more than
$10,000.00 and it's still growing!! This is now my fourth
week and I have made a total of $42,000.00 and it's still
coming rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00 and six stamps,
and I have spent more than that on the lottery without
ever winning!!!
Let me tell you how this works and most important, why it
works.......... also make sure you print this out NOW, so
you can get the information off of it, as you will need
it. I promise you that if you follow the directions
exactly that you will start making more money than you
thought possible by doing something so easy!!
Suggestion: Read this entire message carefully!! (Print it
out or download it)
Follow the simple directions and watch the money come in!!
It's easy. It's legal. And, your investment is only $6.00
(Plus postage)!!!
IMPORTANT:
This is not a rip-off, it is decent; it's legal; and it is
virtually no risk - it really works!! If all the following
instructions are adhered to, you will receive
extraordinary dividends.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please follow the directions EXACTLY, and $50,000 or more
can be yours in 20 to 60 days. This program remains
successful because of the honesty and integrity of the
participants. Please continue its success by carefully
adhering to the instructions. You will now become apart of
the Mail Order business. You are in the business of
developing Mailing Lists. Many large corporations are
happy to pay big bucks for quality lists. However, the
money made from the mailing lists is secondary to income,
which is made from people like you and me asking to be
included in that list. Here are the four easy steps to
success.
STEP ONE: Get six separate pieces of paper and write the
following on each piece of paper "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR
MAILING LIST." Now get 6 U.S. $1.00 bills and place ONE
inside of EACH of the six pieces of paper so the bill will
not be seen through the envelope (to prevent thievery).
Next, place one paper in each of the six envelopes and
seal them. You now should have six sealed envelopes, each
with a piece of paper stating the above phrase, your name
and address, and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is
creating a service.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL!!!!!
You are requesting a legitimate service and you are paying
for it!! Like most of us I was a little skeptical and
little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I
checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-238-5355)
and they confirmed that it is indeed legal!!
Mail the six envelopes to the following addresses:
1) Andreas Swart
Hoornschediep 11
9727 GA Groningen, The Netherlands
2) W. Edens
4829 Bud Ln
Lexington, KY 40514
3) Richie Herminio
Block F , Eastgate Office Park
24 South Boulevard, Bruma 2198
P.O.Box 10474 , Johannesburg 2000
4) J. Safian
6950 W. Forest Presrv. Dr., #115
Norridge, IL 60706-1324
5) G. Takla
690 Adelaide Avenue East
Oshawa, Ontario, L1G 2A8
6) R. Changule
27 Julius Street Flat N0 2
Cosmopolitan View
Lynmeyer
Johannesburg 2000
South africa
STEP TWO: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see
above, move the other names up (six becomes 5, 5 becomes
4, and etc.) and add YOUR NAME as number 6 on the list.
STEP THREE: Change anything you need to but try to keep
this article as close to original as possible. Now post
your amended article to at least 200 news groups. :
(I think there are close to 24,000 groups) All you need is
200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you
make!! This is perfectly legal!! If you have any doubts,
refer to Title 18 Sec. 1302 & 1341 of the Postal Lottery
laws. Keep a copy of these steps for yourself and whenever
you need money, you can use it again, and again. PLEASE
REMEMBER that this program remains successful because of
the honesty and integrity of the participants and by their
carefully adhering to directions. Look at it this way. If
you were of integrity, the program will continue and the
money that so many others have received will come your way.
NOTE: You may want to retain every name and address sent
to you, either on a computer or hard copy and keep the
notes people send you. This VERIFIES that you are truly
providing a service. (Also, it might be a good idea to
wrap the $1 bill in dark paper to reduce the risk of mail
theft). So, as each post is downloaded and the directions
carefully followed, all members will be reimbursed for
their participation as a List Developer with one dollar
each. Your name will move up the list geometrically so
that when your name reaches the #1 position you will be
receiving thousands of dollars in CASH!!! What an
opportunity for only $6.00 ($1.00 for each of the first
six people listed above) Send it now, add your own name to
the list and you're in business!!!
*****DIRECTIONS FOR HOW TO POST TO NEWS GROUPS!!!*****
STEP ONE: You do not need to re-type this entire letter to
do your own posting. Simply put your cursor at the
beginning of this letter and drag your cursor to the
bottom of this document, and select 'copy' from the edit
menu. This will copy the entire letter into the computer's
memory.
STEP TWO: Open a blank 'notepad' file and place your
cursor at the top of the blank page. From the 'edit' menu
select 'paste'. This will paste a copy of the letter into
the notepad so that you will add your name to the list.
STEP THREE: Save your new notepad file as a text file. If
you want to do your posting in different settings, you'll
always have this file to go back to.
STEP FOUR: You can use a program like "postXpert" to post
to all the newsgroups at once. You can find this program
at <http://www.download.com>. If you don't understand how
it works you can email me at: mailto:andreass@orange.nl
(this is only when my name is in the list, so send a copy
of my address as well. put this in the header: make
millions very easy + my full name)
Use Netscape or Internet Explorer and try searching for
various new groups (on- line forums, message boards, chat
sites, discussions.)
STEP FIVE: Visit message boards and post this article as a
new message by highlighting the text of this letter and
selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the subject,
this will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll
through the list of postings in a particular group, click
the post message button. You're done.
Congratulations!!!!!!
THAT'S IT!! All you have to do, and It Really works!!!

emm386.exe on XP
I have a small DOS based program that was written for me
by a local programmer. It makes use of a Microsoft file
called emm386.exe. I used Windows 98 2nd edition and this
worked well.
I have now installed Windows XP, and the programme does
not want to work. It comes up with a message "No EMS
driver is installed". I need to use more memmory to get
the small (2mb) programme to operate.
What can I do with XP to activate the equavalent to
emm386.exe, and which gives a DOS programme access to
memeory in the PC above 1MB
I would appreciate any help in solving this problem, as
it seems that Microsoft SA dont have answers, or are too
inexperienced with this.

Program Hangs...
All,
I have just started using MM2 on a new computer. After many hangs and software restarts, I came here. I see I'm not alone. I went to Papa John's site for the fixes and started down the list.
I'm wanting to edit a 45 minute video, by this Saturday. This is what I have done so far to no avail...
1) Did a search on divxaf.ax. Not found on my computer. Is this not good?
2) Changed Hardware Acceleration to 3, still locked up. I have Directx 9b installed.
3) The computer has a Nvidia Geforce MX 440 w/ 64 MB DDR Memory. I ran Windows Update for new drivers for it, but nothing there. (The computer came with XP Home. I believe it should look for these types of updates. I have not had a new computer in 5 years, so I have a lot of catching up...)
4) Ran GSpot v2.21. It shows that there were a couple Arcsoft files missing, but seems ok for MM2
5) The tweak for Nvidia/Xp... I was unable to find on the listed site. May have been moved or I was just missing it.
I think that is about all...Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I loaded my movie through 1394 into my laptop and then proceeded to edit it. After I edit it and tried to save it to a disc or my hard drive it continued to say "Cannot Complete the Save Movie Wizrd." Movie Make cannot save the movie to the specified location. Then I copied it through Roxio onto a disc and tried the same on my desktoip and it is copying it now. Any ideas out there as to why on my desktop which is older than my laptop. Upgraded PC, now MM2 will NOT allow SAVING MOVIE
Firstly I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Papa
John for all his great work and input in this newsgroup
and indeed his site. Totally invaluable.
My problem, i've been using MM2 effectively since it first
launched. My previous PC Spec was
P4 1400mhz
MMX Gef0rce 4
256 meg ram
2 HDD 180 & 60gig
Made loads of films and never had a problem (that I
couldn't resolve)
Since upgraded to a new Motherboard
P4 2600mhz
1 gig DDR Ram
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256meg
MM2 just will not allow me to save as per
http://www.eicsoftware.com/pictures/PapaJohn/Website-

I'm totally stuffed now.
Anyone got any solutions, as i've tried all the ones in
the above link. No luck
Any one got a work thru, the clock is ticking and I really
need to get MM2 working again.. just like the good old
days. Tag: Making a CD Tag: 8987

Final Render Video Stops - Audio Continues
I have a project that I cannot seem to make into a
movie. I've tried saving to PC, CD, and DV Camera. All
indicate a final file size of around 85 meg. Movie is
12:45 (minutes) long
I only get errors trying to go to DV camera, but no error
reason. Saving to CD or PC, the software proceed
normally. When viewing the final movie, video stops,
audio continues, at about 50% point. No info in help
talks about max file size, etc. Each save gets me a
little further.
Any suggestions? Tag: Making a CD Tag: 8971

partial import syndrome
i can import most dv-avi files into MM2 with no problem.
however, certain files only get 'partially' imported.
case in point; i've captured some footage from my dvcam
that's 1.2GB, and lasts 6:20. however, once imported that
file is inexplicably reduced to only the first 20 secs!
there's no way of adjusting the capture size limit - i've
checked. and what's more, i've imported bigger files in
the past.
what gives???
any help greatly appreciated. Tag: Making a CD Tag: 8956
divide and conquer
I am wondering if it is possible to break up a large video
project into smaller sections, edit them as needed and
then when each is finished, combine them into the final
finished project.
Once a particular section is finished, it seems wasteful
to have to re-render all that again just to see how the
new section is coming along.

export problems
I am having trouble exporting my movie in any fashion.
When i try to make a WMV file, or save it to a CD, it
fails and then gives me a message: "check to make sure my
source files are still availible, the destination location
is still available and the destination location has enough
space" -not in those words but that is what it says. I can
open and play and edit my movie no problem-so the source
files are still there and uncorrupted, and I even did a
test where i made a project the same lenghth (just
cutting and pasting)with the same source materials and it
worked! I have a ton of room on my computer too. I am at a

MM2 limit on number of slides?
I tried to create a movie with about 800 slides (~40 minutes with 5 sec/slide and transitions). I have a fast machine (2.8Ghz hyperthreaded P4, 1GB RAM, 200GB disk, 3GB swap), but once I added the transitions and music, MM2 slowed to a crawl. In an attempt to make it more reasonable, I split it into two shows of about 400 slides each. It helped, but not much.
But here's real problem #1. When I tried to save the movie as avi, I got a "not enough disk space" message even though I have scads of available space and the swap is distributed across physical disks. I was able to save the movie as wmv.
And here's problem #2. The first movie shows the first 238 slides and then gets "stuck" on the 238th slide even though the music continues. The second movie gets "stuck" after 134 slides and shows black (even though there isn't any black with the transitions I used). At first, I blamed the DVD burning software, but it's the wmv file itself--confirmed by using windows media player.
Any ideas about what's going on?

Moviemaker 2, A followup
To those of you who have been following my complaints
regarding Moviemaker 2 since around 8 December, and have
yourselves contributed suggstions, I offer this bit of
information.
Dump the freebee MIcrosoft Moviemaker program, I will bet
that I alone have forwarded at least 50 of those
automatic problem reports to Microsoft.
Get out your wallet, brush away the moths, and Invest
around $70.00, to get a boxed copy of ROXIO EASY CD
CREATOR, rev 6 platinum.
I tried it myself, you will be amazed at the results with
transitions, titles and music. The operating controls are
similar to the remote control on your television. Then
when you are thru, a second portion of the
program/package, allows you to drag and drop the video to
CD.
Another option at about the same price level, is PINNACLE
STUDIO 8, And if you are willing to go up to the $100.00
range, there is Another ROXIO product called VIDEO STUDIO
7.
Now if I can get Microsoft to fix an annoying fault in
MONEY 2004, I will be a happy man.
Merry Christmas, Chanukka, Feliz Navidad (which ever
applies) to all.

mm2 won't import
I've read the last 2,000 messages on this board and a good part of the papa
john site.
I can:
1. capture, view and play a dv avi in Adobe Premiere
2. capture and preview while capturing in MM2
I cannot:
1. play raw dv's captured in either Premiere or MM2 in Media Player
2. render these dv's in G-Spot
3. when I capture with MM2, it dies on attempting to import. However the
file is created and can be imported into Adobe Premiere.
I have three machines: P4, P3 and P4 Toshiba laptop. The P3 plays and
renders the above files. I have compared the loaded codecs and neither the
P4 nor the P3 have any that are not on the P3.
Media Player started acting funny after one of the service fixes since
October 1. Has anyone dealt with something similar successfully?

What in the world made this happen?
ALRIGHT THIS IS WHAT EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR ONLINE.
A MAGIC HAT THAT SHOOTS OUT MONEY FOR NOTHING.IT IS SO
INGENIOUS NOT TO MENTION LEGAL YOU MIGHT SH#T YOUR PANTS
WHEN YOUR DONE READING THIS SO GET STARTED!!! BUT YOU
HAVE TO FOLLOW IT TO A LETTER FOR IT TO WORK!!!! :
A little whileback, I was on my computer having a grand
old time, just like you are
now and came across an article similar to this that said
you could make thousands
of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment
of $6.00! So I thought, "Yeah,
right, this must be a scam", but like most of us, I was
curious, so I kept reading.
: Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6
names and address stated in the article. You then place
your own name and address in the bottom of the list at
#6, and post the article in at least 200 newsgroup.
(There are thousands)
No catch, that was it. So after thinking it over, and
talking to few people first,
I thought about trying it. I figured what have I got to
lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right? Like most of us I
was a little skeptical and a little worried about the
legal aspects of it : All, So I checked it out with the
U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that
it is indeed legal! Then I invested the measly $6.00.
Well GUESS WHAT!!?. Within 7 days, I started getting
money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured
it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In
my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the
second week I had made a total over $1,000.00! In the
third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's still growing.
This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of
just over $42,000.00 and it's still coming in rapidly.
It's Certainly worth $6.00,and 6 stamps, I have spent
more than that on the lottery!!
: Let me tell you how this works and most importantly,
why it works? Also, make sure you print a copy of this
article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as
you need it.
STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the
following on each piece of paper
"PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST."
Now get 6 US $1.00 bills and place ONE inside EACH of the
6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through
the envelope to prevent thievery. Next, place one paper
in each stating the above phrase, your name and address,
and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a
service by this.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! Mail the 6 envelopes to the
following addresses:
#1)Jonathon Markwood 3308 Birdsong Way Birmingham, AL
35242
#2) P. Ortner 29 Briarlee Dr. Tonawanda, NY 14150
#3)Jarod Astwood 2125 Seaport Circle Apt.215, Winter Park
FL 32792
#4) Ricky DeMaio 471 McCutcheon rd, Hudson WI 54016
#5)Justin Schuster 221 N. Huron St. Wheeling, WV 26003
#6)Joe Lamberti P.O. Box 9201 Waterbury, CT 06724
STEP 2: *DO NOT TAKE OFF #6 AND PUT YOUR NAME AND
ADDRESS!!*
-- take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move
the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc?.) and
add YOUR Name as number 6 on the list.
DO NOT TAKE OFF #6 AND PUT YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS!!
STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this
article as close to original as
possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200
newsgroups, message board.
(I think there are close to 24,000 groups) All you need
is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money
you make!
---- DIRECTIONS----HOW TO POST TO NEWSGROUPS, MESSAGE
BOARD----------
Step 1) You do not need to re-type this entire letter to
do your own posting. Simply put your cursor at the
beginning of this letter and drag your Cursor to the
bottom of this document, and select 'copy' from the edit
menu. This will copy the entire letter into the computer
memory.
Step 2) Open a blank 'notepad' file and place your cursor
at the top of the blank page.
From the 'edit' menu select 'paste'. This will paste a
copy of the letter into notepad so that you can add your
name to the list.
Step 3) save your new notepad file as a .txt file. If you
want to do your postings in
different sittings, you'll always have this file to go
back to.
Step 4) Use Netscape or Internet explorer and try
searching for various newsgroups (on-line forums, message
boards, chat sites, discussions.) Just example you log on
any search engine like
yahoo.com,google.com,altavista.com, excite.com then you
search with this subject ?millionaire message board? or ?
money making message board? or ?employment message board?
or ?money making discussions? or ?money making forum? or ?
business message board? etc. You will find thousand &
thousand message boards.
Click one by one then you will find the option post a new
message. :
Step 5) Visit these message boards and post this article
as a new message by highlighting the text of this letter
and selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the
Subject, this will be the header that everyone sees as
they scroll through the list of postings in a particular
group, click the post message button.
You're done with your first one!.
: Congratulations? THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump
to different newsgroups and post away, after you get the
hang of it, and it will take about 30 seconds for each
newsgroup!
** REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS OR MESSAGE BOARD YOU
POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU EILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO
POST A MINIMUM OF 200
** That's it! You will begin receiving money from around
the world within days!
You may eventually can rent a P.O. Box due to the large
amount of mail you will receive. if you wish to stay
anonymous, you can invent a name to use, as long as the
postman will deliver it.
**JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT.
** : Now the WHY part: Out of 200 postings, say I receive
only 5 replies (a very low example). So then I Made $5.00
with my name at #6 on the letter. Now, each of the 5
persons who just sent me $1.00 make the MINIMUM 200
postings, each with my name at #5 and only 5 persons
respond to each of the original 5, that is another $25.00
for me, now those 25 each make 200 MINIMUM posts with my
name at #4 and only 5 replies each, I will bring in an
additional :$125.00! Now, those 125 persons turn around
and post the MINIMUM 200 with my name at #3 and only
receive 5 replies each, I will make an additional
$625.00!
OK, now here is the fun part, each of those 625 persons
post a MINIMUM 200 letters with my name at #2 and they
only receive 5 replies, that just made me $3,125.00!!!
Those 3,125 persons will all deliver this message to 200
newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still 5 persons per
200 newsgroups react I will receive $15,625.00! With an
original investment of only $6.00! AMAZING!
When your name is no longer on the list, you just take
latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another
$6.00 to names on the list, putting your name at number 6
again. And start posting again. The thing to remember is,
do you realize that thousands of people all over the
world are joining the internet and reading these articles
everyday,
JUST LIKE YOU are now!! So can you afford $6.. and see if
it really works?? I think so?
People have said, 'what if the plan is played out and no
one sends you: the money? So what are the chances of that
happening when there are tons of new honest users and new
honest people who are joining the internet and newsgroups
everyday and are willing to give it a try? Estimates are
at 20,000 to 50,000 new users, every day, with thousands
of those joining the actual Internet. Remember, play
FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will work. Tag: Making a CD Tag: 8912
DeInterlacing Captured Video
I've noticed that when I capture video using MM2, the video is interlaced.
Is there a way to deinterlace the video as I capture it?? If not during
capture, is there a way to deinterlace the video after it's captured??
BTW, I'm trying to capture the video in DV-AVI format. And I've already
looked at PapaJohn's web site and didn't find anything there...
All and all help is greatly appreciated,

Audio absent during capture
I'm just learning to use Windows Movie Maker, which came already loaded on my new Dell Dimension 8300, running Windows XP. I'm using a Pinnacle LINX-2 capture device from my analog super 8 video camera to my computer. During the capture process, in Movie Maker, the video previews fine but I don't get any audio. However, when I play back the captured clip, the audio is there. Any suggestions as to why the audio can't be heard during the capture?

Audio mutes when scrubbing
I am new to Movie Maker. I have created a Project with a
timeline.
When I scrub along the timeline or in the preview window,
the audio becomes muted and will not play even when I stop
scrubing and simply play the clip.
The audio can be restored by clicking on Clip on the
toolbar then Audio then Mute (this does not resore the
sound yet) then clicking again on Clip, then Audio and
then unchecking the (by now checked) Mute box. This is all
a bit tedious as the muting occurs every time I scrub
forward or back and can only be restored by going through
the above elaborate routine
I have tried reinstalling Movie Maker but the problem
persists and I have created another project and the same
problem occurs.
Any suggestions for curing the problem? Tag: Making a CD Tag: 8896
