Good day,
i recently started to work with Windows Movie Maker.
A nice tool and I'm getting along very well, but there is one thing I didn't
yet understand :
If i have a, lets say 10 second clip, how can I apply an effect, for example
the slow down effect for the period from second 3-7 ?.
So the clip would have normal speed until the 3rd second, then from 3-7
slowmotion, and from 7-10 normal speed again.
Would be nice if somebody could help me with that.

==============================
Try splitting your clip into three sections
and apply the Video Effect to the center
section.

When a clip is on your timeline the
top track shows the duration of the
clip in seconds. If you place your pointer
on this track and move it until you see
the 0:00:03.00 position and left click your
mouse...this will place a vertical line
on your clip...now you can type Ctrl+L
(or click the Split button just below your
preview screen) and split the clip at that
point. Do the same at the 0:00:07.00
position and your clip will be divided
into three sections. Apply the Video
Effect to the center section.
