I have just finished creating a movie using windows movie maker and I was
trying to upload it on to youtube. The problem I encountered was that youtube
didn't support the file type .mswmm. I've downloaded several different
converters, but none of them work. Is there a converter out there to convert
these files?

Thank you,

Alicia

*.mswmm files are just the project files for your movie project.

You must save that *.mswmm as a *.wmv file

No convertors necessary.

See WMM help on saving projects as movies.

Yes, you just go to File->Save Movie As. Follow the prompts and your movie is
automatically saved as .wmv, which can be uploaded to youtube.

Thank you very much! I thought that it was just another way to save it.

See John's reply for more detail

John's CTRL + P is equal to File>Save Movie File.

I assume you have your wswmm project file open.
