Hey,

Everyone, thanks for the responses so far. But alas, I'm
wearing the "o-fer collar." I have adjusted the page
settings and gone through, in desperation, and renamed
every .ax file that I found. (I tried each one before I
went to the next.) No luck. Any other ideas? Would a
uninstall and reinstall help? Uninstall might be fun
since it is not listed in my coontrol panel to remove. If
all else fails, hate to ask, but any recomendations on
other software?

Thanks again!

Andy

Hi Andy,

If you have 2 or more of the problem codecs, you should rename them both at
the same time for the test.

Did you try the hardware acceleration setting?

Hey,

I actually went one by one through the codecs renaming one, retrying the software. As it would lock up, I would rename another, keeping the previous one renamed. So in the end, all were renamed. I also went to 3 on the hardware setting and no go there.

I guess I'm not supposed to run this thing... :)

Thanks again for your help!

Andy

Hopefully, you are only rename the codecs that are on the known problem
list. I'd be surprised if you had more than a couple of them. If you have 3,
rename all 3 at the same time for the test.
