I have windows XP on my Tosibha laptop. I have captured a video of 30min. in
length from my sony dv camera (in bits and pieces of around 10 min each).
When I have finished with video capture my laptop is stuck not even the mouse
pointer wa moving. And I had to do a hard reboot to start the laptop again
and on start up there was the blue screen saying your system rtecovered from
a failure.

I have this problem evry time I do a Video capture using movie maker. Please
suggest if there is any patch or upgrade for movie maker that my laptop needs.

I have no clue how to resolve this. But I would consider a fresh windows
install, if I had this problem.

Go to the Control Panel, click on Administrative Tools, and then the Event
Viewer. What does the Event Log say about the error?
