Not necessarily, some AVI's will work fine some will not. It depends on the
Codec used to create the AVI since there are many different types of AVI's.
For a converter you can check out:
http://www.videohelp.com/convert
or Google for "Free AVI converter" which will give you many hits for
different ones but, be aware, being free programs some may contain adware.
