On Windows Movie maker.

My computer can detect the IEEE 1394 Cable when I wont to capture video
footage from my camera but once I completed my movie and then tried to copy
it back on the DV camera it says "Your DV camera is not connected to your
computer".

So any help would be great thanks.

Does your camcorder support this function, some don't. Check the manual for
dv-in.
