Hello,

It is known that Movie Maker has a problem with some JPeg images. I
discovered that when also doing a wedding. The way I found it was to split
the problem project in half and tested each half...one worked the other did
not...so I proceeded down the side that failed splitting it in half as I
went. Before I got to just one file I ended up with both halves having a
problem. Fortunately they were not so big and by recreating those small
projects and testing after each new file was added I ended up with a bunch
of JPegs that Movie Maker would not work with. I fed those into PhotoShop
and could see no problem with them.....To make sure I was going to create a
different file I cropped the first few and saved overwrote the
originals..some of the others I adjusted the colour table and saved them
over the old ones....the Main project worked perfectly after doing that. I
am NOT saying that changing the colour table solved the problem...I used
that as a means of being sure that the new files was just that...a new file
but with the old file name.

I read the burning to cd problem and the suggestion, but it looks like mm2
seems to be giving a lot of people this problem. I have been trying for a
long time to save my shot 30second video on cd with no luck. I tried to send
it by email and sill no luck. Is there anybody who knows what I can do. I
read Making a movie with windows xp the author explained those two
features, I followed the instructions but still nothing, gets error message
all the time.My video is only 30 seconds or less so splitting is not
necessary.

Hello,

The duration of the video is not related to the need to split the
video....the video "could" contain 30 stills of one second duration
each....60 of 0.5 sec etc etc...it takes only one problem to stop the
process.

I am not sure if you are the same person who posted the original message.

Before we can solve your problems which seem to be many, we need to know
exactly what error messages you get (in Detail) and exactly what you did
that resulted in those error messages.

In addition we need to know what files are being used (file types)
