I have a Panasonic NV-GS75 and I download my movies directly via Firewire to
Microsoft Movie Maker 2.1. I can edit, add titles then publish my movies
just fine. However - when I add in some music, I get this error:

Error signature
AppName: moviemk.exe AppVer: 2.1.4026.0 ModName: ffdshow.ax
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 0003c59f

I'm assuming this is a problem with the ffdshow.ax codec. So I downloaded a
newer version, ended up with the same problem. Now, I used to be able to put
music be it mp3 or wav into movies no problem - this just came out of the
blue.

I'd appreciate anyone's assistance in this matter.

ffdshow.ax is on my list of problem codecs.... see the Problem Solving >
Crashes and Hangs page of my website.

Thanks John

However, after removing the ffdshow.ax codec, it was still posing a problem.
So after reading your tech advice on your site, I went though the options of
turning codecs on and off in WMM. Turns out, it was the Nero Audio codec
that was causing me issues. I have Nero ver 7.1.0.2
