Traying to import saved .avi files I get the message error "inpossible inport
file c:\... Interface not registered"
pls note that the same file can bi open with media player.... and many
others programs.
I just re-installed MM2.1 but no improvements

any help?

There are over 800 types of avi file, only dv.avi works properly with MM, so
I expect you have one of the others. Find out what it is and convert it to
wmv.

The problem is with all the type of file not only with avi.
Even I cannot delete the movie maker folder.... seem to be used by a ..
program!!???

i dont know!!

Can you list all the files you have trouble with?
Are they on the compatible list?
MM is part of windows, so cannot easily be deleted on it's own.
