There isn't any such utility. The MSWMM file is the project file, not the
movie or music file. When you have a project file open in Movie Maker, you
make the movie or music file by choosing 'Save Movie File' from the menu.
The saved WMV, WMA or DV-AVI file doesn't need Movie Maker on the computer
that plays it back... Windows Media Player can play them all.
The basics of how to use Movie Maker are on references in online tutorials,
the help file, books, etc.

everyone has Windows Movie Maker to play back on, ... or a system that
supports it. Who was the genius who said you could only import these formats
for the materials to a new file, but you cannot export to the source format?

things like Media Player don't recognize MSWMMs. What the heck is that
supposed to be, anyway. Why can't it just make and save in a normal,
mainstream format?
