Hi,
I am using Win Xp movie maker 2 to import mpeg files
recorded by my TV tuner card(winfast TV 200 expert). But
when I do import them, it is broken into many segments. to
approximately 500 segments!!. IS it due to the lack of
free space in my computer system drive or is it the format
that winfast is saving not being compatible? At the moment
I have tried MPEG 1 and 2 with Mp 3 audio. I didn't try
windows media wave file as they can gobble up a lot of
drive space! Any suggestions on how to fix this, or any
other freebie program that can help me to shrink these
mpeg file.

Uncheck the "Create clips for video files" checkbox on the import window.
