hi,

when i capture my footage frm my dv video cameracorder, there is a loss in
the colour quality. as it captures i can see in the preview frame that the
colours are dull and not as bright as on the tape that is playing.

i am capturing with WMM version 2
using a 1394 firewire cable and my video camera is canon MV830

can someone please help, i rle need to edit this video asap but cant do that
until i get the good colour back!:S

thanks in advance

The preview monitor is just that, a preview. It shows up what it can and is
subject to the quality of the pc.
Try capturing a section of tape.
Save as dv.avi in MM.
Send back out to your camcorder and watch it on your tv, it should be
identical.
