I have never been able to figure out Movie Maker. 1) It keeps asking me to
save my movie on a CD, but don't I have to save it on a DVD - if my movie has
a picture and sound. It doesn't give me the option to save my movie on a
DVD... and 2) When I try to save it on my computer, it comes out almost like
a visualization... It's like a vague painting of my movie in action, and no
longer looks like a movie. Any help would be appreciated by this novice who
has spent hours at this and is still confused. Thanks.

XP does not have any dvd writing facilities, so your only option is cd or
hard drive
Choose hard drive as dv.avi adn then another dvd authoring programme to make
your dvd.
What are the file types on your timeline?
