I have noticed that attempting to change the audio of a clip seems to be to
decrease only.

Opening the clip's audio control shows the slider on maxium by default.

Can I not make low-audio louder?

The XP version of WMM opened this control with the slider at 50% (in the
middle.)

Thanks Graham,

Does this program edit audio in a .wmv file? Or do I have to extract the
audio from the video and edit it that way?

Not sure without checking myself, but reckon probably best to save your file
as a wav, edit that and reimport it seperately.
