I hope some one can help! I was editing a movie that I downloaded from my sony handycam, today I tried to do more editing and when I opened the Movie Maker it shows only a big red X over the pitchures I have downloaded. How can I fix this? It still shows the files in my viedos and the movie maker file. Any help would be appreciated.

Joyce,

The red X's indicate that you moved or did something else with the source
files after importing them into MM2... if the files are still on your hard
drive, right click on a red X and tell MM2 where to find the file.

Thanks for your help, guess I will just delete it and try again. I tried to locate the movie but don't know what happened. When I just run the curser over the file with the red x it shows it has the duration time for each clip. Maybe next time I try it I'll remember where I saved it.

Thanks again, I did a search on my hard drive and sure enough it was still there! I found the file that I hadn't edited yet, for some reason it was in the windows media player file. Thanks for your help
