This is a repeat request!
Vcr tapes were recorded, on a domestic m/c. to DVD.The DVD was placed in the
pc.and the file was opened in Windows Explorer. The VOB files was changed to
MPEGs and opened with Media Centre via Media Player. Each file played with
video and audio but only for a few seconds instead of the several minutes I
was expecting. As far as I

can tell the full file was present. Can this problem be overcome? Any help
will be very welcome.

Do you have a compatible DVD decoder installed according to the
DecCheck program which you can get from here :
