Please help.
I using windows XP and have mediaplayer 11 installed. It works fine with
music, but everytime I try to play a video, it stops on the first frame. The
sound keeps going in the background, but the video is frozen. When I try to
exit WMP, it tells me it is not responding, and when I close the player, it
frezes my computer completely. I can't even shut it down, but have to pull
the power to get out.....

Someone please help. I have never heard off this problem before

Thanks

Do audio files work properly? This indicates to me that you have a bad
video card driver. What video card do you have? Does turning down video
hardware acceleration fix you up?

Speaking for myself only.
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
