Wrong CD Info

I bought a new CD today from Big W (Department store here in Australia) and
when I try to play the disc it brings up an older album by the same artist.
It's driving me nuts. Even when I try to find the correct album it doesn't
even show it Windows Media Players search list. I get the right singer, but
wrong album info.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it???

Is the album information being retrieved from your own computer or from the
internet?
